In recent years, Nestle Cheerios has become a sure-fire family breakfast staple, taking on long-established competitors. Phil repositioned the brand to a ‘Family Agreement’ platform, introducing a strategy with distinctive new packaging, high-impact advertising and supporting line extensions, including Honey Cheerios.
The UK strategy was adopted globally and led to the brand becoming the fastest growing mainstream cereal brand whilst critically doubling profitability.
